((I DIDNT SEE THIS IN MY ASK BOX I APOLOGIZE FOR IT TAKING SO LONG I LOVE YOU IM SORRY))

imagine bones sitting alone in his room, in the total darkness sipping some bourbon he stopped tasting a long time ago

imagine bones reflecting on what happened, on the words that were said, on the past that they dragged up, on the volume and tone of their voices

imagine bones curling in on himself when he remembered the look of hurt that flashed across spock’s face that was no doubt mirrored by his own

imagine bones not remembering what the hell they were fighting about in the first place

somebody running somewhere they shouldnt have on a mission, no doubt

someone refusing to pretend like they didnt almost DIE and leave someone else all by himself because what good is being a doctor if he doesnt have someone to FIX

imagine bones deciding that yes, he did remember after all

imagine bones hating himself for letting spock walk away, letting spock slam the door behind him

imagine bones hating himself for screaming after him how illogical and immature that was

imagine bones lying down on the bed, his drink forgotten, and curling in on himself

imagine bones hearing the door to his quarters unlocking but not giving enough of a damn to turn around

imagine bones feeling the warmth of a vulcan curl around him, a long arm wrapping around his torso and pulling him tight

imagine bones hearing a soft voice murmur, ‘im sorry ashayam

imagine bones rolling over so he could wrap his arms around his vulcan too, and press a kiss into his neck

im sorry too spock’
